Bill Murphy is a New York City based artist working primarily in printmaking, drawing and painting. His work involves a naturalist and contemplative study of subjects such as barren landscapes, abandoned ships, and graveyards of wooden sailing vessels. Many of his works are heavily based in etching, lithography (from the stone), watercolor, oil paint, graphite and charcoal.
